Mold is everywhere. We’re here to tell you when mold is dangerous to you and your family.
If you see signs of mold in your home, chances are you DO have a mold issue. Here in the Northeast, mold is commonly found in areas where moisture builds up, like basements or attics. Sometimes, mold can also make its way through the rest of the house from water leaks in bathrooms, or plumbing fixtures. Here are a few examples of mold in homes around Massachusetts:
Basic Inspection/Estimate
This is a complementary visual assessment of conditions observed. This is the most common inspection when there is a visible concern identified. Basic inspection includes non-invasive visual assessment of conditions present, determining the cause of contamination (if present), remediation options and preventive recommendations. *Laboratory testing is optional at this inspection level for a fee.
Standard Inspection
This is a for fee inspection when there is a concern of potential mold but with no visible potential contamination. This is a very common inspection requested when someone detects an odor in the home, isn’t feeling well, suffering from allergies or other overall concern. Standard Inspection includes all the Basic Inspection services with the addition of thermal imaging, non-invasive moisture testing and includes 3 laboratory samples. *Additional lab samples are available for a fee.
Enhanced Inspection
This is a for fee inspection when there are serious health concerns or allergy suffering in the home. Enhanced Inspection includes all the Standard Inspection services and much more including a minimum of 6 samples for mold & bacteria, air quality monitoring, VOC testing and more. Enhanced inspection is a long process and is priced based on testing and need.
